The MEINDL Black Cobra GTX® is a completely newly developed, highly air-permeable combat boot made of highly breathable upper materials with a very sporty look.
The high-quality and supple leather, as well as a smooth-running and very flexibly adaptable lacing provide for a comfortable carrying, whereby however hold and stability are nevertheless ensured. The heel seat can be regulated by two textile loops at ankle height. The robustness of the boot is supported by double seams in the entire shaft area. A flexion zone above the heel ensures optimum mobility of the shaft. Air-permeable padding foams, which are only glued at certain points, pad the sides, the flap, the cuff and the shaft ends and thus increase wearing comfort. The comfortably padded flap made of breathable material and leather reinforcements round off the excellent wearing comfort. The GORE-TEX® lining makes these boots waterproof and breathable at the same time.
The Meindl Contagrip® Trail sole* (adhesive-twisted design) is resistant to oil, petrol and acids. The Contagrip® system protects the foot from below, but at the same time allows a natural rolling movement thanks to the tread design and the flex system with optimised positioning of the cleats. The very non-slip sole profile with integrated "traction control" provides the best grip and slip resistance for all indoor and outdoor ground conditions and quick changes of direction, even in extreme terrain.
This high quality rubber outsole is built over a nylon heel cup that offers high strength and stability. The continuous midsole provides good cushioning and a perfect feeling to the ground, the integrated "stone shield" protects the foot from below (pushing stones through etc.). The continuous shank stabilizer ensures high lateral, buckling and torsional stability (torsional stiffness). The special last offers a wide stand, as well as a flat forefoot. Together with the enormously stable heel fixation, a secure hold of the foot in the shoe is also achieved.

Hervorragender Stiefel. Kein "Einlaufen" notwendig, einfach anziehen und los marschieren. Wiederholungskauf, und jederzeit wieder!!! Klare Kaufempfehlung!!!

Top Schuh
Ist jetzt das zweite paar dieser Schuhe die ich mir kaufe. Trage sie beruflich fast jeden Tag. Und sind top bequem, geben einen festen Halt und man kann sie Sommer wie Winter tragen.

Da ich den Schuh nicht zu...
Da ich den Schuh nicht zum ersten mal trage, wusste ich, dass ich einen sehr leichten, rasch am Fuss perfekt angepassten Schuh gekauft habe.

Sehr guter Wanderstiefel
ich habe den Meindl Black Cobra vor einigen Wochen hier erworben. Einlaufen entfiel völlig. Mit Meindl Jagdsocken bisher etwa insgesamt 100km gewandert. Keine Scheuerstellen keine Blasen. Der Schuh ist vorn schön breit und die Schnürung ist gut und variabel. Diesen Schuh kann ich gut weiterempfehlen.

When in doubt, the stiffer boot is certainly the better choice, as it offers more possibilities.
If you frequently travel in wet regions or have no opportunity to dry a wet boot overnight during
your tours, you should choose a model with GORE-TEX® lining.

How do I find my correct size...?
Unless otherwise stated, our shoes are listed in English (UK) sizes. Converting sizes can often
cause confusion, so we would like to help you find the right size with our size chart. If in
doubt, we are happy to advise you.
Please also do not fixate too strongly on a particular size. Especially when changing models or
manufacturers, deviations can quickly occur. Your feet also change over time, becoming wider and
longer as the arch reduces.

How to measure correctly (see image below):
When measuring, it is recommended to already wear the socks you intend to use inside the shoe or
boot. Stand on a sheet of paper, ideally in the afternoon or evening (when your foot is at its
largest), and mark the tip of your toes (1) and the heel (2)
with a pencil held vertically. Then measure the length of your foot. To this measurement
(3), add 1 cm to 1.5 cm (finger test). This space should be
present at the front of a mountain or trekking boot as a minimum; for lighter shoes such as
Nordic walking shoes, 1 cm to 1.2 cm may also be sufficient.
For safety shoes, a minimum of 1.2 cm to 1.5 cm is recommended.
Then compare this value with our table. The size shown for
your measurement (foot length plus allowance of 1 cm to 1.5 cm) is the
recommended size for your shoe choice. In borderline cases, or if you occasionally wear thicker
socks, always choose half a size larger. Shoes are often bought too small. In terms of width, a
shoe can be stretched slightly or will adapt during the break-in period. However, it cannot be
lengthened.
Here is an example of size selection for a trekking boot:
Your foot length + space at the front (at least 1 cm) = 28.7 cm =
UK 9.5 (recommended size)
Note for children's shoes:
For children's shoes, add approximately 1.2 cm to 1.5 cm to the foot measurement to determine the correct size in the table above. For the children's boot model Meindl POLAR FOX Junior, no addition is necessary, as this model runs slightly larger than standard Meindl children's shoes at the same size, leaving room for thicker socks.
Note for winter boots:
In winter boots especially, it is important to have sufficient room and toe clearance. Boots that
are too tight will cause cold feet quickly.
For winter boots with sheepskin lining such as Meindl GARMISCH PRO GTX®, GARMISCH LADY
PRO GTX®, Meindl CORVARA and Meindl CORVARA LADY, add approximately 1.5 cm to your foot
measurement to determine the correct size in the table above, or select your
size according to the examples below.
Examples:
UK size 8 in the table above corresponds to size 42 for the models
Meindl GARMISCH PRO GTX® / GARMISCH LADY PRO GTX®, and likewise to UK size 8
for the model Meindl CORVARA / Meindl CORVARA LADY. This means you may only
need to go slightly larger with these two models to have a little more room for thicker socks.
For the winter trekking boot Meindl ANTARKTIS GTX® with Thinsulate® lining,
going half a size larger than your normal trekking boot size is usually sufficient to allow a
little more toe room for thicker socks.
For the models Meindl NORDKAP PRO GTX® and Meindl KITZBÜHEL, first determine
your size as you would for trekking boots (see "How to measure correctly" above). Then choose
exactly one full size larger to compensate for the construction-related difference and to allow
room for thicker socks.
For example: If you wear UK 9.5 in a Meindl trekking boot, choose UK 10.5 for
the Meindl NORDKAP PRO GTX® and Meindl KITZBÜHEL.
Note for sock size selection:
To determine your sock size, follow the same procedure but without adding any allowance, and
compare your foot length directly with the table above.
